i just replaced my arlo pro cameras with essential outdoor 2nd gens and i was trying to connect them to my base station. vmb4000r3. the firmware on the base station is current at 1.26.0.0_4712_12a0681. and i did upgrade the firmware on both cameras to 1.6.0_1530_073be65, then removed them from reset them. i tried to repair with but when i was trying to connect to the base station the pair would fail for both cameras. this happened a couple of times, so i gave up and just connected my cameras to wifi. i thought that this issue was fixed in the oct 24 firmware update. or am i experiencing something new with the march 25 firmware update. i really want to use my base station and dont want to have to buy another on or just abandon it completely.

anyone got any suggestions or fixes.

I am having this exact same problem as well. The Arlo apps states it is “Searching for the device in our system…” hangs there for a while then connection fails. Camera LED blinks amber right before the failure.
