    <description>&lt;P&gt;My camera battery died and the camera won’t charge. The usb will charge the other cameras that I have. I tried switching the USB wall adapter with no success. I did not try another mini usb due to it charging the other cameras. I tried to clean the charging port with alcohol, no such luck. Tried the factory reset the app told me to. Again, nothing. Anyone have suggestions or have the same issue? I really don’t want to buy another camera.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You could check the warranty status (it should be covered for 12 months).&amp;nbsp; You can get a warranty replacement, but you'd need to pay to ship the current camera back to Arlo (they pay for shipping the replacement).&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I have found that the 2nd gen XL cameras can take a very long time to charge.&amp;nbsp; Are you seeing the charging icon show up when you connect the charger?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, is the charger rated for 5v 2 amps?&amp;nbsp; (There should be a label on it).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
