&lt;P&gt;The first thing to double-check is that the Essential Camera is connected via the smarthub.&amp;nbsp; If it is instead connected directly to your home wifi network, then you will have to re-connect it to the smarthub to get local recordings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have local recording enabled, any camera that is synced to the Base Station or Smarthub will record locally. If your Essential Outdoor Camera is synced directly to your home network rather than the base station, this could be why it's not recording locally.&lt;/P&gt;
