Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera, 2nd Generation you must buy a plan

I am disappointed in the camera, there is nowhere in the instructions, when I received the camera, that stipulates you must buy a plan to be able to use all the functions in the camera. That should be essential.

FWIW, it is on the box, though not nearly as prominently as I'd like.

When buying online, the writing is so small it is hardly readable.
