downloaded the arlo app and not see my camera in the app anywhere in the cameras how do I fix this.

Does it record and send notifications? WHat do you see in Devices as well as in Settings, Home, Devices?

Are you saying that "add device" doesn't give you the option to add a 2nd Gen Essential?
