topic Can't Connect Camera in Arlo Essential Outdoor 2nd Gen

I currently have two Arlo cameras: Essential Outdoor 2nd gen & doorbell. I purchased an indoor Essential camera being sold on eBay as a 2nd gen. It arrived today, and the pairing button is on the bottom so that means it's not a 2nd gen, correct? I can't connect it to my network. It must be because it's not 2.4 GHz. Besides trying to return the camera, what are my options? Thanks.

The camera is definitely 2.4 ghz. If you are saying your network doesn't have a 2.4 ghz band, then you likely are wrong about that. Almost all 5 ghz routers are actually dual band (supporting both). Are you able to log into the router's web page, and check?
