Unwanted Alexa alerts from outside of activity zones

I’m getting alerts every time a passing car or person goes by outside the set activity zone. The amount of alerts just becomes irritating and results in me not being able to use the feature but the feature is a big reason for my investment in the product.

The Arlo app work well enough and only alerts me when motion is found within the set parameters.

Is this a known issue and one that has a work round or one that Arlo is working on?

The symptom you are experiencing is by design, Alexa cannot filter alerts for activity zones.

You can try adjusting the angle of the devices or sensitivity to achieve the best results.
