misidentifying vehicles, people and animals as "motion"

We were not receiving notifications for vehicles, people and animals arriving on the property although they were recorded in feed. Most of these events were misidentified as "motion." The push notifications for "motion" were turned off to avoid receiving notifications for branches or items blowing in the breeze. We have now turned on the notifications for "motion." Why is the camera misidentifying most events as motion? We had an arlo camera in the same place before and it correctly identified most events. Is this related to recent app updates? or is it some other problem?

The determination of what the subject that caused the detection is done on the servers so it's not a camera issue. You can toggle all the Smart Notification settings again to see if that helps.
