I'm not surprised that Android emulators don't work on Windows. You could possibly borrow a friend's phone to set up the system and then remove the app. Use the web client on the computer's browser (my.arlo.com) to then monitor your account.

I have yet to buy a new phone that's capable of running the Arlo Secure App,

what do you recommend for that ?

So over the weekend I've been trying various alternatives.

Bluestacks on Windows 10 runs the arlo secure app, however as it does not have bluetooth connectivity, I can't do the initial setup.

Memu , on Windows 10, also runs the Arlo secure app , it looks like it has bluetooth connectivity; however the camera is unable to establish a definite wifi connection.

I tried Bliss OS, on a USB stick; there's problems with that.

Android x86-64 , on USB stick, is next on the list.

 Do you have any suggestions.

Who knows about future plans...

But it certainly should work now. Arlo Secure requires at least Android 8, and this phone runs Android 13.
