Do you experience similar behavior when you use the standard AC charging adapter? This could be an indication of an issue with the solar panel or the camera or both. I encourage you to reach out to support and open a ticket to investigate further by logging in to your Arlo app and navigating to Settings > Support.

I replaced a 1st generation essential camera with a 2nd generation essential camera (VMC3050) with the appropriate solar panel( VMA6600-10000S). All of the wiring and connectors are intact and the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight. The icons on the camera do not indicate that the panel is receiving sufficient sun and the battery icon does not indicate that it is charging. The only way that I can get the camera to indicate that the panel is receiving sunlight and battery is getting charged is to Re Boot the camera. I've had to do this each day since the solar panel was installed. Any help appreciated.
