1) Screenshots of the blurry images would be useful to help troubleshoot.

2) While old cameras and batteries can certainly expire (new ones, too, on occasion), it may simply be that you let the batteries discharge completely. Recharging proactively avoids this problem. However, try this FAQ to see if you can revive them Note that the key is to plug and unplug multiple times to get enough charge into the battery to then allow it to charge normally.

https://kb.arlo.com/000052305/My-Arlo-Pro-or-Arlo-Pro-2-battery-is-dead-what-do-I-do

3) You state 2 different issues, delayed notifications and no color.

a) Delayed notifications can occur from various sources including a server issue as well as the phone in sleep mode. If you have the phone awake and you walk in front of a camera is the notification appropriate?

b) No color means various things. Is it in B&W or does it have a red tint? B&W means the ambient lighting is too low for the camera to record in color. A red tint means the IR filter is stuck but you may be able to dislodge it by reinserting the battery and/or carefully tapping the camera with your hand. Don't use heavy force but a medium strike into your hand may be needed.

That very much looks to me to be a focus issue which you can't solve yourself. If possible, swap at the store or use the app to go to Settings, Support and select your camera. Scroll down to Contacts to see what official support may offer including a possible RMA.

Does the video sharpen up when you watch it (successive frames getting clearer)? Or does the video consistently look this blurry?
