&lt;P&gt;Try a factory reset.&amp;nbsp; Press the pair button until the camera LED flashed amber (~15 seconds).&amp;nbsp; Then try adding the device from the app.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Also,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Make sure you are selecting the Essential Gen 2 when you "add device", and not the older Essential&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure the phone is connected to your home wifi&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If you use a VPN on on the phone, turn it off during the install.&lt;/LI&gt;
