I have 2 second gen essential cams. How do I arm one and put the other on standby?

There are three options

manually turn the camera off in the device settings (turning it on again when you want to re-arm it)
temporarily edit the mode you are using to remove the camera from the mode when you want to disarm it. (adding it back when you want to re-arm it).
edit the modes to repurpose them
