The current apps support both the old user interface (UI) that uses Library to view recordings as well as the new UI that uses Feed. Installing any new camera, starting with the Pro 5, requires your account to switch to the new UI. It's not an app that needs updating, it's the migration to the new UI.

What happens when you try to install the camera? The first step should be to migrate the account to the new UI. Is that where it gets stuck?
