This item is brand new keeps detecting motion or sound when there is nothing going on.

i have the latest firmware and i have tried unpair and re-pairing but the problem is persistent

any ideas?

the other cameras of the same make and model are functioning normally in my system.

Try removing the camera from your account, and then do a hardware reset (holding the button down until the LED flashes amber).

Swapping cameras around may help isolate whether it's the camera or something about the location causing the false triggers.
