&lt;P&gt;The 2nd Generation cameras will not sync to your base station/SmartHub. When onboarding the cameras, select your home network from the list of SSID's available and enter the password for your network. This will allow the camera to sync directly to your home network and you can complete installation.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We do intend to allow Arlo Essential 2nd generation cameras to sync to compatible Base Stations and SmartHubs in the future. This feature will be implemented in a firmware update, but I do not have a date for this enhancement at this time.&lt;/P&gt;

For those that already have your Arlo 2nd generation device onboarded, you will need to remove the device from your Arlo account and re-onboard to see the option to sync with your Base Station/SmartHub.
