Smart Hub for CRV without Subscription

Hi,

I would want to continuous record the video from my Arlo Essential indoor cameras (currently have 3 at home) and planning to purchase the Smart Hub VMB5000 for this purpose. After reading some posts, I am a bit confused if I can make this happens only with the Smart Hub or do I still need to subscribe to the CRV online plan? Can anyone help me with this?

Continuous Video Recording requires a subscription for each camera, and also that the camera be AC powered. It is supported by the Essential Indoor camera, but not other Essential models.

A smarthub is also needed for most Arlo cameras, but not for the Essential Indoor.

So you will need to subscribe, and a smarthub won't change that.
