There was a fire near our transmitter in Colorado, on Gray Head. Could that have something to do with this?

Our indoor camera was working when we left our Colorado house for California July 13. We are receiving push notifications of motion detected but no videos after July 15. The live connect just goes into a spin around circle. The push notifications indicate motion.

WHile live viewing should still be working, it may be the subscription has expired. Check Settings, Subscription or Settings, Home, Plans. If you can see the camera settings, try a reboot of the camera.

What do you mean by "transmitter"? Are you using a cellular hotspot for internet access?

It would seem that internet access is working since you get notifications and can at least attempt to access live view. While it is something of a risk, rebooting your base may be the fast solution. By risk, I mean that it's possible that the reboot may cause more problems but that's usually unlikely. If things go south, a friend with access can power cycle it for you. For future reference, a WiFi-enabled switch that the base plugs into would allow you to remotely perform the power cycle yourself.

Thanks for responding to our problem. We have internet service from Vero Broadband, which shows no outages. The transmitter is on top of Gray Head a peak outside of Telluride.

Sorry, I still don't understand what that transmitter is for. Looking up Vero shows it to be a fiber provider which uses hardware to each house so no "transmitter" would be used. Yeah, something needs to be supplying the connection which could be interpreted as a transmitter but that confuses the issue, at least for me. In any event, I don't see why a fire in the area would be causing your specific issue - either the internet connection is up or not.

Did you try the reboot of your base?

It's not fiber. There's no fiber in this particular rural mountain area. Maybe transmitter is the wrong word, but we have a small dish on the side of the house which receives the internet signal. Unfortunately we're hundreds of miles away but maybe can get friends to help us reboot. Still getting Arlo messages each morning. Thanks for your help.

Both the remote "transmitter" and your dish send and receive, so technically both are transceivers. Often what you are calling the "transmitter" is called base station. You could also just call it a cell tower.

@Placerville wrote:

It could be an issue with your ISP not being able to deliver enough bandwidth, and rebooting mobile router (and related equipment) is a good next step.

Guess I'm in apology mode this morning. Yesterday I searched for "Vero broadband" and ended up at Vero Fifber. There was another link to broadband but that was a login page.
