      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I have been trying to install and connect the Arlo Essential Indoor Camera VMC2040 not installing at all to the SmartHub VMB4540.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Here is the context.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;- App software is up-to-date&lt;BR /&gt;- SmartHub firmware up-to-date&lt;BR /&gt;-&amp;nbsp;SmartHub is connected to the Internet via an Ethernet cable&lt;BR /&gt;- Other cameras and doorbells are connected and functioning well&lt;BR /&gt;- iPhone 14 Pro Max up-to-date iOS 18.5&lt;BR /&gt;- WiFi 2.4 GHz&lt;BR /&gt;- Everything within 2 meters of distance&lt;BR /&gt;- Factory reset has been performed a couple of times on this camera&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I have been trying to resolve this issue for several weeks. I wondered what the issue could be and how to fix it&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd greatly appreciate any help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That's the default - you have to manually select the ability to connect to a hub. A screenshot or two of your attempt to onboard may be useful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;There is nothing meaningful happening. I had connected a couple of dozen Arlo cameras. These are just not connecting to anything. I've never been asked for my Wi-Fi information during this process.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Arlo Support will not even look at my issue unless I pay the company again.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Notice step 9 - Continue Without SmartHub. That means you can connect to WiFi. It also means my comment about WiFi being the default is wrong since you have to select it manually.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The camera is now connected to the WiFi network and is working fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I'll look into moving it completely onto the smarthub to avoid being dependent on the availability of the 2.4 GHz network.&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
