First order discount code does not work

I just signed up and got a 15% discount code. I'm trying yo use the code on my first order. At the checkout after I entering the code and hitting apply, I got error "The code you have entered is invalid. Please check your code and try again.". The code was copied in so was accurate and no space around. Please advise how to use the code

Hello - I had the same issue happen earlier this morning with my 10% welcome email code, but went ahead and submitted my purchase anyways. Can I have this code applied to my purchase?

I got the email for signing up but no code was included in the email. Only a link and when I click on the link no discount is applied to the purchase. Please help.
