Hello arlo Community,

Does the "Arlo Essential indoor 2nd Gen" come with a built-in smoke/Co detection? I know the arlo baby cam does.

While @jguerdat is correct in saying that the camera doesn't have a smoke detection sensor, there is a related feature it does have. The smart notifications include a "CO/Smoke Alarm". When this is enabled, the camera will listen for the chirps that a (nearby) smoke detector generates, and that will trigger the camera.
