Make recordings on shared device?

Hi, I share a device with a family member, where I am the guest user. I have a subscription to cloud storage service, but when I try to record video via Arlo App, it's not even giving me an option to record. How can I record with this configuration? My model is VMC2330.

Sounds like the primary account user didn't enable "access rights" for you.

You don't need a subscription if you're just viewing someone else's cameras. You only need it for your own cameras.
