    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok, thank you. I assume I can try to tilt the camera more downwards to avoid triggering the spotlight too much far away.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the activity zone configured to only cover outside the door (Under Video-&amp;gt;Activity Zones.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Highlight areas in your camera view`s where you want to receive motion alerts"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the spotlight is turned on when you activity way outside this area. Is there any way I configure this so the spotlight is only enabled when there is an activity within the activity zone?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;No.&amp;nbsp; The camera has to capture video in order to tell where the motion is (as the motion detection just sees a change in IR reaching it).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So it needs to turn the spotlight on, and then discard recordings/notifications that are out of zone..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes.&amp;nbsp; You can also try reducing the motion detection threshold.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
