Camera battery charging

I just added an essential spotlight camera to my base station. It is working fine . I mounted it outside but out of the weather. I connected a charging cable to it and plugged it in. It charged fully at the beginning but now the battery is showing 53%. Will it automatically recharge itself when it reaches a certain point or do I have to unplug it and plug it back in when it reaches a certain point?

I would check the connection... if powered the battery should stay full

It may also be a display issue. Try both the app and the web client, perhaps after flushing the cache on each.

I went back to check everything. Outlet was working but the usb transformer block was not. I replaced that and now the camera has recharged to 100% . Thanks.
