    <description>Hi, thanks fir the response.&lt;BR /&gt;Just to clarify, even if my essential camera is connected to my base station VMB4000 no Wi-Fi do I still need a subscription to see recordings in my phone arlo App Library. Thanks.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same problem my camera doesnt download video footage to my phone library. The Essential camera is connected to my VMB4000 base station not to my WiFi dorectly.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If connected to a Hub/Base you can use local storage after setting it up without a subscription but not as ideal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

With the Smart Hubs you can view them in the app but need to download and no thumbnail. I just use local for backup.&amp;nbsp; If you want cloud recordings in the library you need a Sub.
