My 2 Arlo baby camera’s were working very fine till a few days ago.
since around 19th may (after getting the suspicious mail) my cameras won’t connect to my WiFi anymore or rather: they connect to the right SSID but do not accept the ip attributed by the dhcp server (even if I force a static ip).
they will always switch to thes 2 ip: 192.168.1.17 and 192.168.1.18.
problem is that my network is on 10.0.0.x so I can see they are connected to the WiFi (orbi system - cams are visible in the attached devices) but with an ip that make them unreachable.
due to this situation I can’t even try and force a firmware update or so as they are not connected to the web (despite solid blue light after connection. Solid blue that stays even if I block the cam in the orbi app…)

how can I fix this to get my cams back on my 10.0.0.x network.
already tried reset and so on…

What model Orbi do you have?

You aren't using the Orbi as the DHCP server?

Are the cameras connecting to your main wifi network? Or are they connecting to a guest (or IoT) network?

I have a orbi 760 with 2 satellites.
it works as a router and thus dhcp on subnet 10.0.0.x.
i don’t have any other network for iot. I use the same one for all my devices
The router from m’y isp uses subnet 192.168.1.x but has no wifi enabled.
it makes no sense to me that the arlo are choosing those IP since 2 days.
and the arlo babies show as connected in orbi webfront but with those ip.
I really have no idea what’s happening and rebooted everything a few times and even cared to clean the lease of the Arlo in my orbi.

I asked because it sounded like you'd restarted your DHCP server separately from your router.

FWIW, I am using an 870 Orbi (also with two satellites), and also use 10.0.0.x. Like you, I double-route, and my ISP router is (like yours) using 192.168.1.x. My directly connected wifi cameras are all getting 10.0.0.x addresses, but I do not have an Arlo Baby camera.

It might be worth doing a factory reset of the router (since the reset of the cameras made no difference).

After many testing I finally solved the problem by changing my mesh system to an ASUS Zenwifi.

the problem I suppose is a rather bad (to keep polite) dhcp server on the orbi side.

it looks like it was never at ease with the fact I had to change the the basic ip addresses
