Hi, I've just purchased an Arlo Baby and tried it, so far so good except the noticable latency even both phones and the cam is in the same network...

I was trying to connect Arlo Baby to 5G wifi, but it always fail to do so and always go back to 2.4G. My router is Asus AC68U, which I can see someone in the group also encountered the same issue before....not sure if any way to fix it?

Thanks for any help that can be offered in advance.

Sounds like the Baby is getting a better signal on the 2.4 vs 5.... it will usu pick the stronger

To force it, you may have to turn off the 2.4g on router if able... but not sure it would stay there over time

Hi TomMac,

Thanks for your comment. As far as I can see it is not choosing to use 2.4G based on the reception strength, but just because it cannot connect to 5G at all. I tried to factory reset my Arlo Baby and then just give it the 5G SSID, it simply cannot connect at all with error sound at the end... 😣
