1080 video but 720 picture?

Hello,

I'm not sure I hit a bug but I wanted to get some feedback on this.

Despite the camera being set for the 1080p video resolution (which works perfectly), the snapshots are - surprisingly - 1280x720 instead. Is this the expected behavior? Why aren't they 1920x1080 since the sensor is capable of capturing at this resolution?

I tested this and got the same results. Video clips were in 1080p, it was only snapshots that remained 1280x720 when the camera was set to both 720p and 1080p.

I will escalate this to the development team requesting clarification.

After reviewing this with engineering, i'm told this is behaving as designed. Snapshot resolution is independent from video streaming/recording resolution and is fixed at 1280x720.
