As long as your camera is still communicating with the base station and has good WiFi signal you shouldn't have any issues.

Take a look at this article: How far from the base station can I place my Arlo camera?

Hope this helps!

I need to add an additional camera, to view beyond the 25 foot range. Is this recommended to do? I want to see along a 100 foot range

Re-check your system specifications to be sure of the following numbers I use. But if I remember correctly 100' should be no problem as they advertise 300' line of sight. Probably 150' might be closer if you going through a bunch of walls and three or so brick and stone siding. I have used mine at 100' range without any problem, currently that camera is sitting twelve inches above ground level on a garden water fall stone at approximately 90' from the base station. This morning when I checked the footage I found it had been knocked off the stone by a cat but was still working fine laying on the ground on it's side. The base station camera light was flashing weak signal. I placed the camera back on the stone and a few minutes later the strength signal went back to normal. The only 25' limitation I remember is on camera IR illumination range which limits the camera viewing and or recording distance in low light.
