Home monitoring solutions

I need a system that has discreet camera, i.e. hidden in a smoke detector, but all the amenities of arlo (cloud storage, web interfaces, etc.) Is arlo compatible with other cameras? If not, does anyone have a solution? I'm trying to monitor my daugther's caregivers, but need to be discreet.

If you looking for a sort of spy cam... there are many PIR type cameras that use mem card to store pictures on. As long as you have regular access to pull and replace the card.

If it was my daughter, IMO I would be overt, let them know it there as its better to not have anything happen over catching and correcting later.

Thanks. I'm struggling over being overt. Given the abuse has happen, I feel it's important to catch the person and get them out of my daugther's life. Afraid overt may drive them underground.
