in order to take advantage of the audio capability for monitoring inside house, but don't want to install lots of separate wired cameras, can you combine with wireless.

Even if they don't work together, I would think it would be an easier option to install several wireless cameras outdoors where you don't necessarity need the audio and then install one wired system for indoors if you want sound from indoors.

Any thoughts?

For all intents and purposes, that's the best way to use Arlo. Since the Q cameras are indoors-only but have sound capability, using them in conjunction with wireless cameras for outdoors makes a lot of sense. I would like to see improvements on the wireless cameras with respect to motion detection, with a new model that incorporates the same pixel-based detection used in the Q cameras but that remains to be seen if it will ever happen.

While I don't use my Q camera in the manner you suggest, all my wireless cameras are outdoors and the Q is available for sound indoors.
