I have the Premium plan. I currently have 8 wireless cameras and 2 Arlo Q cameras. When on the App it says that I have the option for 2 more cameras for a total of 12. Is this a mistake? I thought I could only have 10 cameras on the Premium plan? I also purchased 24/7 viewing for both Arlo Q cameras.

Thanks.

I think you may have stumbled on a bug due to the way the Q's link in with the combo of the CVR option... Direct this to @JamesC for a better answer.

But while on the subject, ( in case you don't know ) the max number of running cameras at one time is 5 per base.... If you are able to do, you may want to split the 8 Arlos cams over 2 bases... it will give better coverage/signals and allow all of your cams to record at the same time if needed.

DAG444,

An Arlo Q with a CVR subscription will not count toward the camera limit on the Basic, Premier or Elite plans. For every CVR subscription your total camera limit increases by 1. If the Arlo Q does not have a CVR subscription, it will count toward the Basic, Premier or Elite subscriptions normally.

So, you can still connect up to ten cameras to a single base station on the Premier Plan, and up to 15 on the Elite plan.

What @TomMac is trying to say is that the number of concurrent video streams per base station is limited to five. A video stream is either a live view or a video recording triggered by a motion event.

So, unless your home gets attacked by a horde of ninjas on a regular basis, I'd say you're pretty safe with a single base station, even with up to 15 cameras.
