I have ARLO VMC2030A - after three years the battery life is pretty much useless, I'm needing to recharge it every 2-3 weeks, which is tricky as I'm short!

I'm looking to purchase a new one and I think they have changed in the past three years.

What is the difference between ARLO VMC2030A VS VMC4050P vs VMC3050?

They range in price from $130 - $160 and look pretty much the same.

I'm happy to purchase the cheapest one as the one i had did it's job - so I'm confused by these options.

Thanks in advance for any help.

VMC2030 is of course what you have now.

VMC4050 is the Pro 4.  It is a 2K camera that has a removable/replaceable battery (unlike the Essentials)

The VMC3050 is the Essential Gen 2.  It is a 2K camera like the Pro 4.  It also has a fully sealed battery (not user replaceable) like your first gen Essential.
